TikTok now has over 800 million active users worldwide. A surge in downloads came during the lockdown as many people used it to pass the time or to join in with viral dances. Research shows that doing TikTok dances brings both physical and mental benefits. While gyms remain closed, many people have been enjoying TikTok as a form of cardio. Which I can definitely vouch for after some encouragement to join in with friends! There are plenty of reasons why you should get involved as it’s not only great for fitness, but it helps you to focus on something mentally too. Curious? Whether you challenge yourself to the easiest or the hardest TikTok dance, your mood will instantly become heightened once you get started. Learning a TikTok dance will help you feel more energetic and dancing can help reduce stress and increase levels of happiness.
