We’re excited to bring you news of the UK’s first and foremost food, fitness and wellbeing festival, whether you’re a foodie, into fitness, wellbeing (or all three) there’ll be something for you at Fare Healthy! The event returns for a third year, from 4-5 February 2017. Fare Healthy III will be bigger and better than ever before, with an estimated 8,000 attendees across the weekend, and an unrivalled line up, all held at the world famous Truman Brewery in Shoreditch, East London. Yes, it’s time to Eat, Move and Think!
Perfectly timed to kick start the new year, the two-day event will once again inspire, educate, entertain and motivate attendees to eat, move, think, and, as a result, #feelbetter. Open from 9.30am until 5.30pm, the festival is unique in combining food, fitness and wellbeing, with pop-up restaurants and bars, exercise classes, expert panel talks, cookery demonstrations, a bookstore, alongside a marketplace featuring over 100 brands. Fare Healthy believes in a healthy, balanced attitude to mind, body and soul and celebrates healthy living and wellbeing in all its forms, without having fixed formulas or strict guidelines.
The main stage, seating 200, will play host to talks, panel discussions and cookery demonstrations from leading chefs, health experts and wellbeing personalities including Skye Gyngell (Spring), Anna Jones (A Modern Way To Cook), Jasmine Hemsley (Hemsley and Hemsley), Tom Hunt (Poco), Valentine Warner (TV Chef) Natasha Corrett (Honestly Healthy), Ella Mills (Deliciously Ella), Martin Morales (Ceviche), Uyen Luu (My Vietnamese Kitchen), Amelia Freer and Gaby Roslin. Two ‘Fare Healthy Discusses’ stages will also provide the opportunity to listen to and interact in lively panel discussions, on subjects such as organic farming, probiotics or natural sugars, as well as stories from founders of brands such as Pip & Nut and Propercorn.
The fourth stage will showcase live cookery demonstrations from a diverse roster of chefs and cooks. For those wanting a more active experience, Fare Healthy will run a series of varied exercise classes including Ballet Barre with Naturally Sassy and the renowned SBC experience with Russell Bateman. Alternatively, guests can chill out, meditate and do yoga with Annie Clarke, Mind, Body and Bowl, and the Boys of Yoga.
Busy parents will be encouraged and guided within the Kids Zone, with talks, demonstrations and classes for mothers and children alike. There will also be a bookstore with signings and an exciting selection of food and drink to refuel and recharge, including Mae Deli, Poco, Ceviche and Farm Girl.
Fare Healthy will offer the rare chance to book in and chat with several nutritionists, with guests able to ask questions one-to-one on food, diet, recipe tips and health concerns. Finally, the feel good festival will house shops, food stands and more from brands including Lululemon, Daylesford, Sipsmith, Plenish, Rude Health, Rebel Kitchen, Pearl & Groove, Atlantic Kitchen, Jax Coco, to name a few.
Fare Healthy was created in autumn 2014, a collaboration between self-taught chef Rose Lloyd Owen and a small selection of chefs, bloggers, and fitness instructors. Since it’s inception and launch event in January 2015, Fare Healthy has amassed a loyal following of fans, and tickets for previous events have sold out in less than an hour.
Fare Healthy promises to be the ultimate feel good festival for food and fitness fans this February, with a stellar line up of experts designed to inspire, educate and motivate guests to #EatMoveThink and hopefully #feelbetter.
