NAKED Nut Butters: Almond Nut Butter Review

If you’re a fan of nut butters, you’re going to want to stay right here and get the latest on the unique NAKED nut butter company, from China! We experienced nut butter eaters know the signs of a good nut butter. Because you and I my friends, we know how a real nut butter should taste and we don’t settle for any fake stuff! I was lucky enough to have been sent a jar of NAKED’s delicious almond butter recently and here is my honest opinion of the product. Read on for our NAKED: Almond Nut Butter review!

A real nut butter is thick and creamy, possessing such a satisfying texture that dances soulfully around your mouth before you swallow it. A real nut butter can be oh so smooth, or grainy and crunchy depending on which way it’s blended…and the way you prefer your nuts.

A real nut butter has that little pool of fresh oil glistening at the top of your jar, just waiting for you to stir it all up ready to eat. To put it simply, no processed product can truly compare to a real and allnatural nut butter. If you’re really telling me that you still haven’t tried the real deal, oh how you’re missing out!

Once you try a natural nut butter I’m certain you won’t turn back to the processed variety. Who wants all those added sugars and chemicals anyway? Your body isn’t thanking you for it, that’s for sure.

Introducing NAKED Nut Butters

Now, I would like to introduce you to one amazing nut butter company based in China. Say hello to NAKED, a nut butter brand that MUST have been created by a pair of nut butter connoisseurs because their butters are out of this world!

Great enough to out-compete big brands like Meridian and Whole Earth, it seems that NAKED have developed just the right formula to get your mouth watering and your taste buds tingling. And what’s more, their nut butters are all completely, absolutely, 100% natural from the roasting process all the way into the jar.

NAKED was founded in 2016 by two British young ladies, Meredith and Katie (living in Beijing), health enthusiasts and nut butter lovers. All of the company’s nut butters are produced in Sichuan, China and the company employs local workers from Sichuan province to produce their product. The peanuts that NAKED use are organically grown from the fields just below their factory, while the almonds and cashews are selected from high quality producers in Xinjiang (North West China) and Vietnam.

Each batch of nut butter is still made and tested by Meredith and Katie themselves before finally being dispatched.

Packaging

The jar is plain and simple, recyclable and environmentally friendly. Upon opening the jar, it looks similar to all other natural nut butters I have tried, with some fresh oil floating on top.

Taste

There’s a delicate balance of sweet and savory just like eating an almond. Definitely no added sugars or salt, it just tastes of, well…nourishing almonds.

Texture

It has a thick and creamy mouth-watering consistency. Mainly smooth with tiny almond pieces throughout, which personally I love.

Recommend Serving Suggestions

On toast with banana. The banana adds some extra sweetness for those of you with a sweet tooth like me! Nut butters can make you thirsty so a juicy apple makes a perfect companion. It also makes a seemingly indulgent but actually guilt-free topping on your oatmeal. Also use it to create a Thai inspired noodle dish, which is one of my favorites.

Summary

To conclude, NAKED Nut Butters are a unique and high quality product that I can’t recommend highly enough. Another advantage is the great price, as one jar can be purchased for a very reasonable 69RMB (which is, at time of writing, £8 British pounds or $10 US dollars). So that’s the scoop, and can somebody please tell Skippy to cut out the extra sugar and chemicals, and give us something real like this to sink our teeth into?
