Top 5 Keys to Building Strong Foundations!

Building strong foundations to reaching your goals is paramount to your success. Don’t sideline the basics to get to the bigger objective; in order to reach your goals the process must precede the objective, so that the journey to what you want actually becomes your goal!  You have the ability to shape your path so that you can attain what you want; there is always a start point and these Top 5 keys will help you access what you need to build stronger foundations.

1. The most important step is to decide what you want, with determination.
You must decide what you want with passion and self belief that you can and will achieve your goal. Your mind sets the intention to make it real and you decide upon the action you need to take to make that goal a reality! Be mentally prepared and flexible in your approach; you must be willing to accept the mini setbacks as you move forward, these minor  setbacks will test you.and this is exactly what you need! “Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough” said Og Mandino

2. Make a commitment and take action!
Nothing ‘moves’ unless you do. A commitment is what sets your plan into action, it’s a promise to yourself to invest in you and your goals; this could be something as simple as buying that gym membership; or agreeing on a training routine, whatever it is, this is a tangible commitment to yourself. Solidify the vision you’ve created!

3. Love your starting point, your beginning…
Where you begin is an amazing thing, don’t try to rush off ahead without appreciating where you’re starting from. Be patient in pursuit of your goals! Use knowledge as your ‘building block ‘and make notes or keep a journal to stay focused, everything grows with focused attention. Your progress will serve as a motivator to keep you going. The basics need to be 100% because you cannot build a house for example if it has a foundation of sand. Make this your first goal, to thoroughly start at and really appreciate the beginning!

Now put the foundations under them” said Henry David Thoreau. Those ‘baby steps’ are your foundation; make each one count, make them small but powerful yet mighty!
