International Yoga Day!

Yoga is becoming a hugely popular pastime these days isn’t it. We heard a remark from a very well-known physical trainer to celebrities that “if you own a physical body, you owe it to yourself to keep it maintained and in the best condition you can. You’ve got to in order get the most out of it and your life whilst you’re on this planet.” WHOA! That comment is enough to provoke any thinking person into action is it not?  If that impacts you, International Yoga Day is for you! Check out the following below…

On Sunday 19th June, to celebrate International Yoga Day, join us at Alexandra Palace for a full day of entirely free yoga.

International Yoga Day was launched in 2015 as a way to globally celebrate the impact that yoga can have on the world at large. Recognised across the globe on the summer solstice, the first year’s celebration saw millions of people coming together and practicing yoga.

For a second year, we will be marking this special day with free yoga all day long at an event in the grounds of Alexandra Palace. There’s no more beautiful place to practice than in the grounds of the People’s Palace, a beautiful building with years of history.

Entry and all classes at the event are completely free, with classes ranging from laughter yoga to BoxingYoga™, face yoga to teen yoga. Leading teachers from all over the world are going to be on hand to share their wisdom and advice.

Stop by the meditation area, or make your way through the labyrinth. Check out the showcase of specially selected exhibitors, providing everything from clothing, mats and accessories, to yoga retreats.
Bring your mat, and spend this special Sunday in June celebrating International Yoga Day.
