Formula Cannabigold Oils: High Quality Food Supplements

Supplements have become increasingly popular in the last few years. Many more athletes and sports people have started using such products to reduce muscle soreness and aches. World’s Strongest Man winner (2017) Eddie Hall, former rugby union star James Haskell, and ex-UFC champion Bas Rutten have all spoken about the benefits of supplementation for recovery, pain management and improved health.

Recently we received three food supplement oils from the well-established company CannabiGold. The oils were from their own Formula CannabiGold range, and we tested the products over a few weeks. Follow on to find out how it went in our full product review!

Company Background & Ethos:

CannabiGold is a European company that develops and sells a range of high quality food supplements and cosmetics. Their food supplements are produced in Poland and they are manufactured under the full control of HemPoland.

The company sets high standards and uses scientific methods to develop their products, carefully inspecting them at each stage of production and using precise testing.

CannabiGold keep their products natural and avoid the use of artificial fertilizers, pesticides and crop protection products. The Formula CannabiGold oils are made with a “Clean Label” standard – the simplest composition and no more than five ingredients.

Ingredients / Active Properties:

Vitamin D3: Hempseed oil, cholecalciferol (vitamin D3 extracted from lanolin), antioxidant: rosemary extract.

Vitamin E: Hempseed oil, D-alfa-tocopherol (vitamin E extracted from sunflower seeds), antioxidant: rosemary extract.

Bliss: Hempseed oil, lemon balm leaf extract, bitter orange peel oil , hop cone extract, antioxidant: rosemary extract.

Note: Each of the bottles have clear guidelines to follow and should be read carefully.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should check with a doctor before using the Vitamin D3 or Vitamin E products. The Bliss product is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

CannabiGold’s Bliss and Vitamin E supplements are both suitable for vegans, but the Vitamin D3 product is not.

Consistency / Texture & Fragrance:

If you’ve ever tried hemp protein or hemp milk, you’ll get an idea of what the products taste like. The mild taste may seem slightly unusual for some people and may take a short while to get used to.

The liquid doesn’t have a particularly strong smell, and the smooth consistency is ideal so it doesn’t run out of the bottle too fast or too slow when the button is pressed. The dark glass bottle helps to improve the durability of the contents.

Performance:

Presentation is always important, and I was impressed with the professional packaging of the CannabiGold oils. Each of the oils’ boxes gives plenty of information and details about the product inside.

Straight away, I learned about the high content of omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 essential fatty acids in hempseed oil.

The first oiI I decided to try was the Vitamin D3. It’s straightforward to use – simply press the bottle’s button to release a drop of the liquid. The dispenser gives you an accurate dose each time you use it.

Take the Drops Sublingually (Under the Tongue)

As recommended, I used three drops once per day with one of my meals. Taking it sublingually (under the tongue) is good for quicker absorption, but if you aren’t too keen on the earthy taste, you can add it to a smoothie or protein shake to get the required dose.

With me having a busy lifestyle and lifting weights several times a week, it felt good to add this to my supplementation to boost my immune system and increase calcium absorption in my body.

Just like the Vitamin D3 product, only three drops from the Vitamin E bottle are needed daily to achieve a beneficial effect. This gives you a good dosage of 12mg of vitamin E per day, and it is likely that you’ll get 100 days supply if you stick to this recommended daily allowance.

CannabiGold have used sunflowers as the source of vitamin E for this oil product. If you didn’t know, Vitamin E strengthens the immune system and protects cells against oxidative stress.

“Bliss” Helped Me Relax and Sleep Better

Out of the three products, Bliss was definitely my favourite. I quite liked the taste with its subtle lemon and orange flavour among the oil’s ingredients. The lemon balm aids with relaxation and sleep quality, and it succeeded in achieving this each time I used it – I had some solid nights’ sleep while I used this product and better mental focus each morning.

Six drops of Bliss at evening time is the recommendation for this oil; I found it most effective when I used it a couple of hours before bedtime. Used daily, you can get about one and a half months use out of this bottle.

Value

The number of quality supplement companies online is ever-increasing and prices vary hugely. CannabiGold’s prices are excellent and likely to be affordable for most people. Expect to pay around £10 for the Vitamin D3 and Vitamin E bottles, and about £13 for the Bliss bottle. Some British online retailers that sell these products include Healthpath, Superdrug, The Natural Dispensary, and Evolution Organics.

Summary

Admittedly, I knew little about hemp supplements before I tried the Formula CannabiGold oils. I’ve learnt a lot by trying them out and I’ve felt some physical and mental benefits by using them (especially from the Bliss oil). They’re an easy and convenient way to add more nutrients to your diet, and it’s reassuring to know that you’re improving your health.

If you’re a newcomer to high quality food supplement products, or even if you’re experienced with using them, the CannabiGold oils will definitely be an affordable and worthy addition to your supplementation plan. Check out CannabiGold on Facebook for more.
