Our lives can get so busy that we let our nutrition take a hit. Coffee for breakfast and rushed drive-through lunches leave our bodies struggling to gather the essential nutrients they need. If fitting fruits and vegetables into your diet is a struggle, juicing could be the perfect solution. Follow on for Cold-Pressed Juices: What You Need to Know About Making Them!

Juicing offers many health benefits. I’m here to share what you need to know about making cold-pressed juices so that you can create a vitamin-packed, healthy habit that will improve your wellbeing right away, without delay!

Cold-Pressed Juices are Full of Nutrients

We’ve been told since birth that vegetables and fruits are a necessary part of our diet. If plant-based eating is a struggle for you, then adding juices to your diet might just be the solution you’ve been looking for.

You can juice almost anything; watermelons, green apples, grapefruit, and oranges are just a few to start with. You can also add vegetables such as kale, carrots, and beetroot, to name but a few suggestions. Celery juice alone has many health benefits to explore. You’ll be surprised by the benefits each of these foods can offer your body.

Additional Ingredients are Welcome when it comes to Cold-Pressed Juices

On top of delicious fruits and vegetables, you can also add other ingredients such as spices to give your juices added flavors and benefits. Turmeric, ginger, and other roots are wonderful at fighting everything from acne to inflammation. They can also lend strong flavors, but you can adjust these to suit any juice recipe and reap their multiple benefits.

Juice is All Round Good for You

Juicing can give you energy and increase your metabolism. It can also detoxify your liver and keep your skin clear of blemishes. Plus, if you struggle to drink enough water, there are alternatives to keep you hydrated, and juicing is just one of them. Using ingredients such as melon and cucumber will give your body the water it needs.

Unlike store-bought juices, homemade cold-pressed juices have no added sugar. The taste may be something to get used to as you train your brain to stop looking for that extra sugar, but other than this minor adaptation curve, juicing poses no real major disadvantages.

Juicing is Easy

Once you have all your ingredients prepared, a juicer will extract all the best parts of the produce and leave behind any seeds or rind. You don’t even have to peel your foods before you juice them—just make sure you wash your fruits and vegetables thoroughly and cut them into large chunks first. For vegetables that grow underground, such as beets and carrots, you may want to use a brush to clean off any surface dirt before juicing.

That’s really everything you need to know about making cold-pressed juices. The process doesn’t involve any long, drawn-out steps—it simply produces delicious juice that you’ll feel good about drinking and sharing with your family!
