Bodybuilding Legends – Ramon Dino

The Mr. Olympia contest, the biggest and most prestigious bodybuilding competition on earth, has been around since 1965. The competition has steadily evolved over the decades and more classes or categories have been added to the spectacular show.

The Classic Physique division is one of them. Since its introduction in 2016, only three men have won this hugely popular class. Brazil’s Ramon “Dino” Rocha Queiroz is a man in pursuit of this title and he is stepping close to achieving his dream.

Ramon Dino is one of the fastest-rising stars in the bodybuilding world, and a favorite among its fans. In the early stages of his competitive career he earned his IFBB Pro Card by winning the Amateur Olympia Brazil in 2018.

In his debut in the pro Mr. Olympia comp in 2021 he placed a highly respectable 5th place. The following year proved to be even more successful for Dino and he placed second in the Arnold Classic and second in the Olympia Classic Physique.

This year, he took a well-earned win at the Arnold Classic Physique in Columbus, Ohio and was the runner up in his division in the Olympia, placing behind the five-time champion, Chris Bumstead.

There’s no easy route to the top and it takes a whole load of dedication and determination. Ramon Dino has the unstoppable mindset that shows no fear of the hard and heavy training required to pack slabs of muscle onto his body.

His training routines put plenty of focus on big multi-joint barbell exercises like deadlifts, squats, bench presses and rows. Machines are essential to target muscles effectively in bodybuilding and he includes a repertoire of machine exercises in his training programmes to do so.

As you would expect, a range of healthy nutrients go into this Classic Physique competitor’s body, including foods such as rice, potatoes, chicken, eggs, and a selection of supplements to aid his recovery. Onstage, the Brazilian bodybuilder presents an excellent package of solid and well-defined muscle.

His arms are unquestionably one of the strongest parts of his world-class physique with superb upper and lower arm development. Incredibly, his forearms are said to measure 17.5 inches which is bigger than most men’s upper arms. Take a look at his back as well – it’s thick, wide and well-detailed.

Will 2024 be the year that Ramon Dino becomes the fourth Classic Physique winner in the Mr. Olympia show? Many of his fans believe so. He’s consistently improved during his tenure in the professional ranks and he’s gained the valuable experience necessary to get him to the top of his game.

His hard work and growing confidence we hope brings him the Classic Physique first place trophy that he so badly desires. Check him out on Instagram!
