Healthy Desserts: Top 5, 3-Ingredient Recipes You’ll Love!

There are times when your body just craves sweet stuff and you reach out for candy or an unhealthy snack even though you don’t feel hungry whatsoever, right? Most of us have experienced this ‘craving feeling’ at some time or other! It is more like an emotional hunger habit and the causes can run the gamut; from a lack of sleep, to stress, to even hormonal imbalances. This act is purely voluntary and the desire is to comfort eat for pleasure.

1. Strawberry Lollipops with Dark Chocolate

For this recipe we will only need thin wooden sticks, strawberries and dark chocolate.

Wash the strawberries, then cut them as you like or leave whole. Then, melt the chocolate in a bowl. Meanwhile, prick the strawberries with a stick. Then dip the strawberries in the chocolate and…voila!

2. Peach Crumble

This delicious dessert is made from sugar-free muesli, honey and peach.

Pop peach pieces in the oven at 220ºC and leave to heat for 7 minutes with honey on top. Then, put the muesli in a tray and in the oven, leaving to bake for about 6 minutes. Now simply enjoy! If you want to make this recipe extra tasty and more nutritious, you can also mix it with bio or Greek yogurt.

3. Banana Mug Cake

For this yummy recipe, you simply need a ripe banana, 3 tablespoons of cocoa and 1 egg!

Mash the banana with a fork in a bowl. Then add the egg and stir until well mixed. Then, add the cocoa and continue mixing. To finish, put this bowl or cup in the microwave and heat for 1 minute. Boom!

4. Crepés with Spelt Flour

To make this, gather the main ingredients: 200g of spelt flour, 400ml of soya or other plant milk and 2 eggs. Mix all the ingredients in a container and beat it until a homogeneous dough is left. Let it sit for about 30 minutes.

Then, grease a pan with a little olive oil and, with the help of a spoon, pour the dough little by little until it spreads throughout the pan. When it begins to brown and peel off the sides, turn it over and continue the same process. This may take 4-6 minutes.

Once the dough is cooked, simply layer your favourite topping: be it fruits, homemade jams, peanut butter, etc. You can also freeze any uneaten portions to eat at a later date!

5. Strawberry Yogurt Ice Cream

This scrummy dessert only needs strawberries, creamy, low-fat, sweetened bio yogurt and a small spoonful of vanilla extract.

First, wash and crush the strawberries. Then, add the yogurt and vanilla extract and mix until it becomes a homogenous mass. Fill an ice cube tray with this mixture and let it freeze for 2 hours, and WOW! Flavour sensations galore! Why not try with other red fruits, or kiwi, or mango…for more epic taste delights?
