YouTube Fitness Channels: 5 of the Best You Must Watch!

Are people really turning to YouTube fitness channels? Yep! During the lockdowns here in the UK, all gyms and leisure centres have been closed for long periods of time. Many of us have turned to exercising at home, and fallen in love with it even as gyms reopen! This was definitely the case for me; I found my love for fitness on YouTube!

Some days you just do not feel like leaving the house to get your fitness fix, and that’s okay. YouTube has everything from heavyweight muscle-building workouts to yoga, and from jogging simulators to dance workouts.

YouTube also comes with amazing communities, where you can find people with the same goals and love for exercise as you. These have worked wonders for my mental health as well as physical fitness!

It can be daunting when you first start looking online, as there is a bewildering array of YouTubers promoting some aspect of fitness or other, but then there are definitely some that I abs-olutely swear by! So without further ado, check out these YouTube Fitness Channels: 5 of the Best You Must Watch!

1. The Body Coach TV

Joe Wicks’ YouTube channel has boomed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Joe uploaded a physical education class for kids, and for adults, every single day of the pandemic! Joe has hundreds of workouts on his channel for you, and his fun personality will motivate you to keep moving with him!

2. Saskia’s Dansschool

Saskia’s Dansschool is the YouTube channel which got me into dance workouts. I found my love for moving to music again, since I stopped dancing a while ago; I can’t get enough of dance workouts to music. Saskia’s Dansschool workouts make exercise fun, and you’ll build your cardio and tone those muscles as you dance!

3. Chloe Ting

Chloe Ting is another popular fitness channel providing a wealth of content! Chloe’s 2-week challenges are sworn by and adored by many! I have personally completed her 2-week shred challenge two times and both times I finished with a toned set of abs that weren’t quite visible before!

4. HasFit

If you find weightlifting boring, then this is the channel for you! Claudia and Coach Kozak are a lovely married couple who share their love for physical fitness.

Claudia shows the easier options, while Coach Kozak pushes you to give the harder-hitting options a go! These two make weightlifting, and weight-free workouts a lot of fun. They have so many different workouts targeting different parts of the body; you can hit every single one of your muscles!

This lovable pair will push you through their sessions, whether you choose a quick, 10-minute workout burn or a 60-minute killer.

5. Jen’s Cardio Party Mashup Fitness

Here is my personal favourite! Jen is a fitness instructor who works hard to share her love for cardio HIIT dance online with everyone! Jen uses amazing music, from K-pop to 90’s hits, there’s something for everyone!

Jen is also brilliant at providing low impact options for her workouts; she even does chair workouts. Whether you do high or low impact though, you will get an amazing workout.
