With many restrictive lockdown measures still in place, the majority of us have taken to getting creative in the kitchen and the fascination and enjoyment towards food has increased fivefold. Banana bread, pancake cereal, Katsu curry, we’ve all been there. But why not further fuel this fascination through listening to some new food and health podcasts. Unsure of where to begin? 1. Rhitrition: Food for Thought

Rhiannon Lambert is a registered nutritionist and founder of the Rhitrition clinic in Harley Street, London. She specialises in weight management, sports nutrition, nutrition and pregnancy, as well as disordered eating. This broad range means you’re sure to find an interesting topic covered in one of her episodes featuring regular guest speakers and giving you the most up to date evidence-based advice to encourage a healthy lifestyle.

2. The Sporkful

As their saying goes, the Sporkful is ‘not for foodies, it’s for eaters’. This is an award-winning podcast exposing different and unique food angles. So, if you’re interested in discovering more about the history of different foods, food science or food culture, you’re sure to come away with some useful nuggets of information after just one episode.

3. The Doctor’s Kitchen

Dr. Rupy, author of this podcast, is an NHS medical doctor who set up the Doctor’s Kitchen in 2015. 5. The Food Medic

Similar to Dr. Rupy, the Food Medic (Dr. Hazel Wallace) is a personal trainer, blogger, author and NHS doctor. With 4 seasons of episodes to choose from, you can learn all the latest evidence-based advice from leading experts in their field.
