5 Top Green Teas!

Green Tea is a drink that people either love or hate. If you’re health conscious and take your nutrition seriously, I would suggest drinking at least 2-3 cups of this tea a day in order to reap the benefits of the antioxidants. Over time, this drink aids in fat burning, boosting your metabolic rate and suppressing your appetite; helping you to avoid those naughty snack cravings in between meals! Since I’m an avid green tea drinker I would like to share these 5 Top Green Teas with you and why you should drink them!

 1. Twinings Pure Green Tea
This particular type is the first green tea I ever tried about 7 years ago and it really aided in helping me to lose quite a lot of weight so I’m very thankful to this tea! It has quite a bitter taste so it can take a while to get used to, but with only 1 calorie per cup can you really say no?

2. Twinings Jasmine Green Tea
This is by far my favourite green tea of all. I drink at least 5-6 cups of it a day. I always have a cup after breakfast, lunch and dinner as I find that it helps to keep me full until my next meal. The taste of the jasmine takes away the bitterness of the pure green tea taste which makes it more pleasant to drink. It’s not too overpowering with the taste or smell of jasmine which is another added bonus!

3. Tetley Super Green Tea: Boost (Berry Burst)
This tea has an amazing strawberry and raspberry taste, with added vitamin B6 which helps to keep you energised and alert. This is definitely one to keep in your drawer at the office! The Tetley Super Green Tea range was also voted Product of the Year 2016 in the Green Tea category!

4. Twinings Orange and Lotus Flower Green Tea
The first time I bought this tea it was actually by accident – but what a great accident it was. As I drink the Jasmine Green Tea every day, sometimes I fancy a change and have this one instead. It has a fresh orangey smell and the taste is just amazing! It’s not too sweet but you can pick up on the combination of the orange and lotus flower from the first sip. I would recommend this tea to those who don’t like the bitterness of normal green tea.

5. Twinings Lemon Green Tea
As with the Pure Green Tea, this was one of the first green teas I tried too. I love the tanginess of the lemon but this is not for people who can’t handle that twist of sourness! Some brands of lemon green tea have a really off-putting aftertaste but this one is sharp and refreshing.

Green tea is all about preference and it might take a while to find the one that suits your constitution and taste buds the most! Twinings is one of the best places to start if you’ve never tried green tea before as they have the biggest range of flavours. If you’re trying to lose weight or need help to maintain it, green tea definitely helps over time alongside a healthy diet and lifestyle -naturally!
