1 cup baby spinach
2 tbs soaked chia seeds
1 tb raw cacao nibs or powder
2 cups walnut milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lucuma
A pinch of sea salt
Add honey to taste

Method: Soak the chia seeds in the walnut milk for twenty minutes so it turns into a gel like substance. Then simply add all ingredients in a blender and blend until it’s smooth. If your smoothie tastes like a chocolate ice cream shake then you’ve nailed the flavour!

3. Green Smoothie
Green smoothies are a great way of adding extra vegetables to your diet so why not enjoy the taste of one while you do so? Coconut water is the perfect alternative to sugary ‘sports performance’ drinks as it has more electrolytes than any of them. Avocado and spinach have ample amounts of anti-oxidants while kale and apples have vitamins A and C respectively.

Ingredients
Half an avocado
4 leaves kale (stems removed)
Half an apple
Handful loose spinach
1 cup of coconut water
4-5 mint leaves

Method: Blend all ingredients together. If it’s a little bitter feel free to add fruits such as bananas or even pitted dates to sweeten it up a bit. Try to drink immediately as it doesn’t sit well in the fridge unless you put it in an airtight container.
