10 Signs That You Are Suffering with Candida

Do you constantly feel bloated after meals no matter what you eat? Always feeling lethargic, exhausted and frequently unwell? If you’ve answered yes any of the above, it is quite possible that you are suffering with Candidiasis, an overgrowth of Candida yeast in your gut. But fear not, recognising symptoms is the first step towards healing and I’m here to show you how to do just that! Read on for 10 Signs That You Are Suffering with Candida.

My journey began when I discovered I was suffering with Candidiasis myself. Thankfully, after recognising symptoms and treating via a carefully managed natural, nutritional programme I was able to beat candida in 8 weeks and furthermore go on to become the fittest, healthiest and most vibrant I’ve ever been.

So what is candida exactly?
Candida is a yeast-like microorganism, which exists along with the bacterial floras (good bacteria), in your mouth and intestine to support digestive functions. Because Candida is a pre-existing organism in your body, it’s ordinarily quite harmless to you. However, problems arise when the Candida population starts getting out of control, this infestation is known as Candidiasis.

An infestation can occur for a variety of reasons, for example; a diet high in refined carbohydrates and sugars natural or otherwise, a diet high in fermented foods such as pickles, vinegars and fungus foods or a diet high in alcohol consumption. However, the most common reason an overgrowth may occur is after the use of antibiotic medicines which, as well as clearing your body of the ‘bad bacteria’ which causes you to be unwell in the first place, also clears out the good bacteria too! This leaves a kind of vacuum if you like, a gut which is free for Candida to grow and multiply.

In the worst cases the Candida yeast actually penetrates through the intestinal wall into the bloodstream and releases its toxic byproducts throughout the body, causing a seriously weakened immune system.

If you think you might be a sufferer, do go through this 10-point Candidiasis identification checklist below:
1. Digestive issues such as consistent bloating, constipation and diarrhea
2. An inability to shift abdominal fat (even with huge amounts of exercise)
3. Constant cravings for sugar
4. Constant cravings for refined carbohydrates
5. Feelings of exhaustion and lethargy
6. Suffering with headaches or migraines on a regular basis
7. Frequent skin or nail fungal infections, including: Athlete’s foot, vaginal yeast infections, fungal toenails
8. Difficulty concentrating, poor memory and a lack of focus
9. Frequent skin issues like cold-sores, eczema, psoriasis, hives, and rashes
10. Irritability, mood swings, anxiety, or emotional depression

If these symptoms resonate with you, it’s time to act. Healing your body from a Candida infestation will not only improve your physiological health but also your emotional health too. Once healed, you will finally be able to achieve the vigorous, passionate and joyous life of maximum energy you always knew you were capable of and furthermore, the physical body you aspire to own.
